Build Guide: SoraV2 Minimal Base
Items needed:
- Ninjutso SoraV2
- NRTH SoraV2 minimal base mod, STL Files, Printed Nylon Parts
- 000 or 00 Phillips head screwdriver
- Double sided tape may be required to stick the battery in place
default print setting work well for our mods as long as tree supports are used.
- Layer height: 0.12 or lowest possible
- Perimeters/Wall Loops: 4
- Infill: 40%
1) Remove the 4 screws located on the base.

2) Push from the front and rear gently, the mouse should open up. There is a clip at the rear, this may break during disassembly and causes no performance issues. Lastly, the side button cable is taped to the sensor, use a knife or other flat tool to gently remove the tape.

3) To remove the battery. Wiggle out from each side, pulling on the male connector.
To remove the side button cable. Flip up the black clip at the rear of the connector. the cable should now easily side out.

4) Remove the 4 PCB screws.

5) After removing the PCB from the original base, we are ready to install the Minimal Base mod.

6) Start by assembling the front part. Support from underneath while screwing the PCB into place.

7) Repeat the process with the rear part.

8) Reconnect the side button ribbon cable and the battery JST connector (make sure the pins are the right way round)

9) Screw in the base just like the original mod. Make sure to stop screwing as soon as you feel resistance, overtightening risks stripping the screw holes. After this apply dot skates.
